裝載操作

機體應處於水平穩定位置，否則難以精確控製回轉卸載，從而延長作業循環時間；機體與卡車保持適當距離，防止車身尾部在180度轉彎時與卡車相撞；盡可能采用左旋安裝，視野開闊，作業效率高。同時，正確把握旋轉角度，減少旋轉時間；卡車的位置低於挖掘機，以縮短吊臂的提升時間，並具有良好的視線；先裝砂石，再放大石頭，可以減少對樹幹的衝擊。

有效的挖掘方法

當鏟鬥油缸與連杆、鬥杆油缸和鬥杆成90度角時，挖掘力大。當鬥齒與地麵成30度角時，挖掘力佳，即切土阻力小；用鬥杆挖掘時，確保鬥杆的角度範圍在前45度和後30度之間。同時使用動臂和鏟鬥可以提高挖掘效率。

用鏟鬥挖掘岩石會對機器造成很大的損壞，應盡量避免。需要挖掘時，應根據岩石的裂隙方向調整機身位置，使鏟鬥順利鏟入進行挖掘；將鬥齒插入岩石縫隙中，利用鬥杆和鏟鬥的挖掘力進行挖掘(注意鬥齒的滑動)；用液壓挖掘機提升時，應先破碎未破碎的岩石，然後用鏟鬥挖掘。

起吊作業

液壓挖掘機進行吊裝操作時，確認起吊現場的周圍條件，使用高強度吊鉤和鋼絲繩，盡可能使用專用起吊設備；操作方式應為微操作方式，動作要緩慢均衡；吊帶的長度合適。如果太長，懸浮物體擺動大，難以精確控製；正確調整鏟鬥位置，防止鋼絲繩打滑；施工人員盡量不要靠近起吊物，以免操作不當造成危險。
